tried several programs on this card all i get is After program the card, I put it in the 3800 ceiver, only channels that shows up are music channels in the 90x and three channels 101, 480, and 490.
used many diff teir gen progz.. and many of the scriptz out there .. still no go
ird #. keys , are all correct ... wtf is goin on ??

Yank the card out of that 3800 (with the unit powered up) and read the system info screen...if the loc id is 0000001, there's your sign... :) You'll need to reprogram the receiver.
If that's not the problem, a detailed description of your programming procedure will help us help you.

your ird reciever software may be out of date ~
Unlock TSOP & Eeprom if locked, set it up in the menu to download without permission, Turn on the IRD - Go to the memory dump by pressing the following keys on your remote....
1.) MENU, 2.) 6, 3.) 3, 4.) INFO (Not System Info), 5.) BROWSE (right arrow), 6.) THEME (left arrow). A display of the MEMORY DUMP should come up on the screen. Once you see this, press the 7.) TV/VIDEO button, you should see NON VOLATILE MEMORY message. Now press 8.) POWER button on remote, let IRD set with power off, within 5-30 minutes the green LED will flicker & it will power itself back on with the newest software.

2.#6 system setup=ok
3. #3 diagnostics=ok
4.i dont see info (just purchase info tried it but no dice)
this is an old ird ,it may take care of the problem
DO THE STEPS FAST AS YOU CAN...THATS FOR ALL IRDS...YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
sorry for yelling so simple just seems hard...
oh yeah you are not doing the steps in the menu...thats just the first button on the remote u push
the info buttons on your remote.... not in the menu
these are steps u do fairly fast to get to the memery dump...to currupt it hope this helps,willie

hey guys ive been testing for a year or so & this is my very first post, reply, or whatever. i was pretty decent with dtv, but dish is a little more in depth, so iguess im a newbie at dish, but all i do is turn the ird off w/remote for about 30 mins & it updates the channles. this is my first post im tickled shitless..... HE-HE
