You were getting ATR responses the other day, what happened? I think you've got a 4B card, if I remember right...did you try to read it? Don't do that...not necessary, as I know you're not trying to save a subbed bin from it. But now that you've got it looped..you've got to unloop it, which can be a booger-bear in Extreme with a 4B card. If you have a variable voltage power supply, try bumping that to 9 volts. That's what I run. After you try to unloop once and stop the procedure manually, then try to unloop it again, the program will ask you if you want to try to repair the card. This is a normal response. Just say, "yes". It may take a while...let it run for a few minutes, but if it doesn't unloop, stop it and try it again. Don't just let it run for hours and hours...It will say BOOTSTRAP ACTIVE in great big letters when it finally pops...then just open and write your bin. Write that one I sent you.

...Dragonman,in EHU go to the settings screen.
change to the following:

DAC1 to B9-A0
INS to 4C

Save and Exit.

Then try and unloop. These little settings work great for me on my 4B's.

if hu extreme is all you have go too alt3 or custume3. let them run no longer than 5000 glitches.if this does not work its time for you to get winexplore.

You don't drive an M5, do you? You lucky dog....:) Anyway, had a 6B do that to me just last night. I was testing a little private hex and apparently the card didn't like it....the hex didn't work right, and I had a devil of a time getting it off. Later, the 4th byte came up bad after reapplying Defiant 0725. Extreme is supposed to fix that when you boot the card, but it wouldn't boot, as 0725 locks it. So, back to Starglitch 3.4.1. I swear by it. Available in the downloads section. It fixed me right up..:)

I haven't tried WildWinExtreme 3.0, but it incorporates a 4th byte fix...it's in the download section, HU Tool Scripts. Might be worth a try...turbo on that M5, you say? Damn, the stock ones are fast enough...

shortly after you told me to use it, i popped it in 1 more time and in under 30 seconds it popped it. i didn't see how pulling the card out of the IRD would mess up the 4th byte on it. well i guess it's safe for me to say i mod IRD's now. I am in the south eastern part so if you need me, get me here>>>>m5runner@hotmail.com
