Newbie has a question!!

this might be a stupid question but here it goes anyways. i have a dishnetwork sytem using a magic card cam less rom 3. my question is this. when i get asked for an update by my receiver, should i allow the update or select no? my set up is working good right now and i dont know if an update will effect me from getting ecm'd. oh ya i also have a manual type lock installed. if that makes a difference. any imput would be great.

If you dont update you will start to lose channels and wierd things happen such as reciever not seeing all your sats, ie. might get 110 but not 119 so i would let it update. just remember to turn off your lock first.
