Hi all,

Is a "legacy" dish one that has the switch built in or not? I'm getting conflicting reports and i'm confused on which one to get. I need to have two outputs hooked up as I have two receivers running dishnet. I'm currently using two single dishes with dual lnbs that go to two sw21's and I want to move to one single pan instead of two.

Thanks in advance for the info,
mpyr.

A legacy lnb is one that doesn't have dish pro on it.
It is alittle confusing, but a lnb that is double, it is 2 dual lnbs together, has a built in switch. An lnb that is twice as wide as a single has the switch built in. Some are 1/2 as wide but have 2 outputs each, they need a sw21 or 2 sw21 to go to 2 recievers.
Very confusing to explain. 1 double wide lnb with 2 outputs needs NO sw21.
2 lnbs single wide with 2 outputs each need sw21.
Legacy are older and work any ird dishpro only work the newer ird.
Dishpro have it written on then. legacy have nothing on them.
It is different from the dual, single, sw21 thing.
