View Full Version : rom 2 card acting wierd

I have this rom 2 that was fine untill I was playing with it in xcel now it does not know the rom type I use ne and it reads an atr tries to log into the backdoor and it is all 00 I know the backdoor code but I do not know how to get back into this card if anyone has a suggestion that woould be great

This is simple to fix just run bug buster on it then do a read if it didnt open repeat bug buster at more cycles until you get it.I use nagra 4.1 for this function has worked every time for me.

I would try to switch between xcel and nagra 1.*

Use Xcel3.6 To Manage Your Rom2 Image And Nagraedit To Write The Saved/Updated Image Back To The Rom2.

I found a couple of good rom 2 cards was trying to put them up on bev, does anyone have a valid rom 2 cam for bev, and is the buzzard fix still working?
can pm me, I know good cam id's are golden.

try freetalk ...read the readme and i put a rom2 cleaner in the zip..hope this helps

Well, I have to disagree with you mopar about the rom2 card, in my opinon, there the best cards to use. No blocker needed so blocker is not a target, easy to use, just use nagra2 and xcel and you will not have any problems.

I think I have freetalk from 3 years ago when I started doing this and you could only progrmam dish cards in dos. I don't see the zip you are talking about though
