my 3900 got ECM and i did a full tsop erase w/o backing up the tsop. now i need to get a new bin from tsop bank.
I don't know which tsop to choose since there are so many. How do I know which one to choose and after that can you tell me how to use flash edit 2.0?
thanks.

You should try to replace it with the same build as what your old one was, if you know that information.

flashedit is super easy. It only has about 5 functions in the entire program. You need jtag to read/write tsop to replace or repair tsop info. Since you erased entire tsop, then you need to rewrite entire tsop with correct build info. This is a 4 letter code. To interchange images on the tsop, you want to use a build as close to yours as possible. Match the first three letters if you can. To ECM repair the 3900 in the future, just erase SA30 three times and restream without card in IRD. The stream will do the rest of the repair.

Where do I find the build Config on my 3900?
Do I need to open the IRD?
Thanks for replies!

does anybody know where I can get a TSOP.BIN for a 4700 4900 upgraded CCFA there are no CCFA's in the files
Whatever can go wrong will go wrong
I found a CCFA for the ird but no matter how many times I erase the TSOP when I try to program it it says not erased. do you want to continue ?. If I continue it says error.
Now on top of everything else my IRD dosen't even know what it is it has lost it's mind
I got this 4900 TSOP from a reliable source, but I haven't been able to load it and try it yet. If anybody wants it I put it in the TSOP Bank, the CCFA seems to scarce as hens teeth.
