dish to bev 2700

I have a few question requarding dish to bev... first off let me see if i am clear on somethings...
1. dtv dish will work for bev
2. a 2700 will work as well just erase sa5 and let it update by the stream
3. a magic card will work just select bev when programing

not sure of the dish settings for bev... I'm in the Dallas area
az169 and the elv 51?

Not sure best way to get az and el for Bev in Dallas. Have you tried the aiming tool at bellexpress.vu?

so how do you get the screen to come up show the sat 91 and sat 81 for bev showing the signel bars.....i got the fact that u need to let the ird upgrade in the stream but if i can not find the sat it will not update

I used a sat beeper. I don't even rely on the IRD's to tell me. I also had a 301, which would tell me the signal strength even if it was the wrong sat. Not sure if there is a way to get 2700 to do it for you. May have to write entire Bev tsop to start instead of just erasing SA5 and restreaming.
