Jtag 4700

Is it possible to jtag a 4700 receiver with a J31 jtag or do you need a universal jtag to do this, thanks.

The J31 jtag is only for 301-3100 for topside jtagging. A universal will do the job for you. Or better yet, Mili's buffered jtag.
