Ok im getting ready to mod my 301.013 IRD. I'll be using gunthers method for the vid mod and i was going to use his method for the jtag but I dont know if that method is the best way to go, i seen instructions here on mili's that does it different. Ok my questions are when doing the vid mod do i just heat up the solder and poke the .30 gauge wire thru or do i suck out the solder and resolder the wire in? And for the jtag where do i get the pins for the jtag (gunthers method)?
Dam i know i have a cupple more ?'s but i need to think of a way to word them, so not to confuse every one.

Thanks
Rax :p

If you have a good pointed soldering iron, just heat the tiny spots and slip the 30 ga wire in.

Ue your imagination for the jtag, how do you want to connect and disconnect it? Then go with that, there are many ways to do that.

I suggest the 7812 volt regulator for vid mod, not the resistor/diode way.
