Not update by stream!

Hi there,

I don't know why I could not update my friend's IRD - 301-010. After erasing sector SA3, connect the dish cable feed, then checking by jtag, it was in disk network...
I have done it many times, but I was failed this time. What will I do now?

It helps to disconnect power for a few minutes before restreaming. That seems to really kick the updating in the pants to get it going. You can also trip the card slot contact by putting the card in upside down or backwards.

Nothing...But it does get the receiver to initiate start up.

Fair enough. i can see that it thinks there is card in the box then it expidite the streaming process I guess. Is that the outcome you are trying for then by doing this? I do not mean to kncok down something tht makes a good way work better. I just want to be albe to see what others have tried and hen see the results comnparied to results we can get with out the added steps being added. If we could (and that means anyone) could make a controlled enviorment and test this i woudl ike to see,. We have some great stuff going on and some things that we are doing to make a shortcut seem to be just another step that we do not need. I am not saying everyone has to do it but I would like to know the best was to do everything we do here. There are alot of guides that people use word for word. I have not seem one that we as a group could nit make better, Most of these are done by individuals and they do not get alot of feedback f\so they mst use what theyhve tomake u\it wirk and who knowit might woirk better in this situatiion but will not work in another situation or work better or worse. Lets figure these variables down to a minumum, /then it would be nice if everyone was on e the same page when they nt to help someone how to fix something . We have had peepes more than once get mad at each other because they have there wn ways of doing things but they both work and they other was is never proved right or wrong. Thankyou for your time. If it sounds goos all we need is a few people to help on this. most will be just q and A I do not want to take time against people that are working on things like the P4 or other projects within the site that will lose time allotted for it if they come help with this. I think newer people who want to learn and can have a grasp of the wholoe system Must have a sat on roof working. what lnb setup or sw-21 or dp set up with no sw-221 is fine. I want to learn and I think this will not only helpmyself but others too. Youcan still do all the things you were doing b4 but when you sre sasked to help complete a task you can do that then report how long it took you and any problems and you personal iopinion on it,,,, Think about it everyone and let me know what you think by PM or on a post,, this is opened to everyone.
