Hey guys, the site I go to for my scripts is selling a new type of bootstrap called a Black Shadow bootstrap (on top of the normal no 745 bootstrap they sell)

Here are the specs on it:

-Defeats "Call Ext 745/744" hash.
-Advance Auto self generated Cam ID, so cam id will be unique every time the BLACK SHADOW is inserted into the receiver.
-Contains 68 000 different CAM IDS which are auto generated
-Has a higher/faster capacity chip to ensure 100% effiency
-Will work with the p4 cards if and when programmable
Plus the added flexibility of user configurable through BLACK SHADOW Advance Software
-Manual setting also available for Advance users who like to tweak.
-UTV compatible, no need to add tier to the card -Tier Wipe Blocking INS42, can be turn ON and OFF by user.
Smaller and more attractive convientent design!
Other products are always ON which can be hashed and not ideal for use with HU3M, Sub clone and AvengerSE
Compatible with HU 3M, Activation, Sub clone, AvengerSE, and Emulation.

Anyways, I am really not convinced with these no 745 bootstraps let alone this new one.....whats the deal with these? I havent seen much written documentation on these things to prove they work...has anyone tested them out?

And what is the diff between the Black Shadow ones and the normal ones? Are they the same? Will they actually be able to work with P4's?

Thanks for any indo

I think Chief or even Mili himself explained how these things work so I won't get into that again ..

But , this is testing so go ahead and get one and let us all know how it works ...

Do you notice that they always say " No More 744 745 " but they never mention 711 or 722 ..

You can get a nozkt for the same money as one of those bootstraps...you will get a lot more with a nozkt receiver. The nozkt will for sure work with a P4, the bootstrap may or may not regarless of what the claims may be.

Here's my opinion of the "No 745" boards...and that includes the Red Dragon, Chameleon, Apollo, Black Shadow, and any thing else:

To call them "garbage" wouldn't be fair...but they have their limitations. First, they aren't immune from 3m hashing. Second, they cost as much or more than a modified receiver, which, as JT pointed out, does everything one of these boards do, plus more...plus you get an extra receiver out of the deal.
All these people claiming that their equipment will work with a P4 card are doing one of two things...speculating, or lying. They have no way of knowing. There's no doubt a P4 card will work in a NoZKT receiver...I've been running my subbed P4 in one for months. Before you ask why would one bother to modify a receiver just to use a subbed card...ALL my receivers are now modified, except a Hughes my inlaws use. I don't leave the P4 in the receiver...except periodically, to receive updates. We keep it as a backup in case everything else fails..plus, I feel having a basic subscription helps keep DAVE from getting too suspicious.

It's a little more work, but you can accomplish the same thing these boards are doing with a No 745 hex file, such as the Sven Farnsworth hex that's posted on every site on the internet.

My advice - if you can't or don't want to spend the money, run one of these free hex files...if you don't mind spending the coin, either buy a bin subscription package or spring for the modded IRD, hands down.
