An attempt to upgrade your software...

I recently modded a 430RG and it was successful. I was watching with a P4camID all day long yesterday. First thing this morning, I get a:

An attempt to upgrade your software has been unsuccessful. Another attempt will be made later.
[OK button]

Now the picture pauses every second, and no audio.

Any ideas why?

Well at least I solved it, all I had to do was reboot the IRD. Let's hope it sticks

you flashed with a flash that does not have the upgrade built in, you will continue to get the nag every once in a while, every time the upgrade is sent down. until you reflash with a newer flash bin.

I used nozktdrd430a_2_04.zip on my 430rg and I haven't had any upgrade nags. I hope I don't either...as I disconnected the jtag wires from my ird. It's harder than a motherf@%&*$ to solder those wires.
