I have a superdish with one main receiver and a cable running from it to another room hooked directly to my tv, this is a sub package. My question is I have a Rom 3 & Rom 10 with receivers that I have programmed and I have them connected to my dish 500 dish, can these receivers be hooked to the Superdish or would the extra satellite from ths Superdish interfere.
Superdish is dishpro only. Need 301's and newer.

or a dishpro adaptor to change the sat feed! A dishpro adaptor will allow the older sat dishes to get a signal and watch tv

Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it. Where can I find a dishpro adaptor?

For the cost of the adapter, you might as well buy an older Lnb for the dish. You can find the Lnb's and adapter on Ebay.

Legacy LNBs WONT work with the Superdishs 34 switch. Your only option is to get DP adapters for your legacy receivers. Hook your IRDs to a line coming directly from your 34 switch, it is clearly labeled.
You can also get DP IRDs, that is; any IRD with three numbers.

I am using a quad Legacy head to run four Legacy IRD's, working just fine for me right now. It depends if the Legacy head has the switches built in or not. The price of the adapters are costing as much, or more than a quad head on Ebay, and there are a lot more heads than adapters for sale. Good luck.

You’ve missed Murdock’s point for starting this thread. He has a Super Dish and wants all three sats on all IRDs. Sure a quad would work fine if he didn’t want the third sat.
There is no way around it, legacy LNBs wont work with the 34 switch that you must use if you want all 3 sats, that is to say locals.
I hate to say it; but you’ll have to get DP IRDs or DP adapters.

That's alright, I thought for a good 13 minutes or so that the P4 might be hacked. I got over it. It all equals out. :)
