is it possible to use 2 lnbs on one dish to pick up just the 91 sat for bell on each lnb at the same time?
thanks.
You can't pick up the same satellite on more than one lnb on the same dish. The angle of the dish in respect to a satellite determines the focal point of the signal. Only one lnb can fit in that focal point. For example, on the dish 500, 110 and 119 are at different angles to the dish. This creates 2 different focal points. Putting an lnb in the focal point for 119 gets 119's signal. Putting another on it picks up 110. If the bev signal is duplicated on a second bird (which I seem to remember reading somewhere, though I'm not certain) that is 9 degrees away from the first, then you can pick up the second sat on the second lnb of a dish 500. If you use a super dish, the second sat would need to be either 9 degrees or 18 degrees away from the first. Hope this helps.

satstorm has a good point. because when aiming a dish, if you are just slightly off aim you will have a weak signal or no signal, so getting the same sat with 2 lnbs on the same dish, might work but getting a good signal with both might not.
