119 channels not there

i have a 2700 ird and a rom3 card. i am getting a signal of 123 out of 125 on the 119 bird but no channels from that bird come in. the 110 channels are fine. in system setup it shows the 110 but not the 119. did i miss something?

tried that even though i have no switch installed. just a single lnb

O.K. this doesn't make any sense. What kind of dish/lnb combo are you using that you expect to get both sat's with one lnb/no switch?

not trying to get both. just trying to get 119 with an old dtv dish and lnb. or does it default to 110

If you point the dish at 119 - you get 119.
If you point the dish at 110 - you get 110.

You're mistaken about the readings on the sat strength. If you are receiving 119, the signal indicator will turn green and the name of the bird will show up.
What I think is happening is that you are pointed at 110.
You go to the dish point screen and check 119.
The signal indicator is on 123, but it is red and in the bottom corner it says wrong sat or it says the name of the 110 bird.

The two birds are at different locations and if you are picking up the 110 channels, you are pointing at 110. If you want 119, you have to re-point the dish.
