Can someone tell me what i have to do if I want to convert my 2700 bev with atmega to disnet. I am thinkiing of trying this but have no clue as to what steps to take...thanks in advance

You could use the search feature but I'll just tell you...

Realign you dish so that you receive the DishNet birds. Hook up your Jtag and open Jkeys, go into flash programming and erase sector sa5 3 times. Hook the IRD to the sat feed and let it stream update. May take anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes depending on your signal strength.

Never tried it except with 110 /119 but won't the Bev set IRD detect the Dish stream and say 'wrong sat' # xxx like it does if you aim the 119 at 110 ?

If this works it would be easier to re aim the dish at the sat you want to change to first, Then when you have a stream to update the reciever with program IRD to recieve the sat. and put in the stream for the update. ?

Curious, Jack

Go to http://www.bellexpress.vu/ and find the Satellite Aiming title almost at the bottom left of the page. Sellect the satellite you want test(!!) and enter a town or city that is close to you. The answer will be the azmuth you need to point the antenna at. Remember to + or - the magnetic declination or you will be way off (usually). LOL
