subman,
I found the same info on other site yesterday, have not get a chance to try, But I will give it a try sometime later, anyway thanks alot for your informations. :)
Did you try what "subman" has suggested ? Or try the below method. This is a cut and paste that has been around for the 420 problem.
TO FIX:
Open up the case and looking from the front to the rear, in the lower left area towards you there are some large round blue colored electronics components. Now to the immediate right of these components there is a black 1/2" diode soldered at both ends to the board (it looks like a resistor) Check this diode and I will bet it is blown. The diode is listed as cr14108 on the board. Take a meter set to diode check, place the test leads on both sides of the diode and then reverse them. If it is good you will get a reading one way and not the other, if it is bad you will either not get a reading at all or get a reading both ways through the diode. If so, replace it and this should fix like new. This has been posted as the part you need - radioshack part number 276-1102 pack of 2 costs .69 cents. Good luck.

...Yeah, I've aready did.
This is a cut & pasted from “Subman”
After doing a lot more reading (and trouble shooting), found CR14108 was shorted. I replaced the damaged part (BYW100-200) with an NTE587, but I used an NTE588 which had a better spec, this should fix the problem on RCA DRD430RG 100%, I also tried on my RCA DRD430RG it work like a charm. But do not use RadioShack P/N 276-1102 a pack of 2 costs .69 cents to replace CR14108, this will not work on RCA DRD430RG as I’ve tried, it will smoke, I was wrong as my 1st posted, but base on “Subman” info that I’ve tried on my RCA DRD430RG, I was able to correct the problem that I had. I also found that on RCA RDR420RE has the same CR14108, if some of you had this kind of problem, you can always give it a try, Good Luck!
PS: You can buy this NTE588 at: http://www.circuitspecialists.com/prod.itml/icOid/5558 or check with your local electronic store, I bought my on a trip to NY, at a local electronic store for $2.00 bucks a piece.
