motorola v600 unlocking

i have a moto v600 service provider att i no longer have the service i have t-mobile att will not give me subsidy code neither t-mobile i bought a usb cable i thought there is some way to unlock it myself cant seem to find any programs to unloc it can anyone help

I have Cingular, and I know v400/600's are not locked by default because they are world phones. Have you tried inserting the sim card at all?
