Error reading on flash Rca 420

This is the second mod I have done, The first one is working great but this one I am trying to save the flash and every time I start up jkeys I get an error: Error reading from IRD (DCU Peek). can anybody help me with this or tell me what I am doing / done wrong.

Sounds like either you are not in link mode or you don't have the trace cut and 5v at FP. The trace cut and 5v to FP is not always neded as sometimes the processor will enable the flash, I always put it so I can ground the FP to write protect.

Thanks for your help guys, but I managed to get it figured out. The problem was I had a bad cable/ to long of a cable going from my computer to the jtag, I eliminated the cable and it worked fine, and I also wasn't getting any power to the flash chip because I had a faulty switch installed to enable write protect.
