Pansat 2500A 110/119/91 Setup, Please HELP!

Hi,

I just picked up a new Pansat 2500A and flashed it with the last working bin (10 05 04).

I have a dish up that is set to 110/119, i know it works cuz a friend brought a working pansat 2500a over weeks back and we were watching TV.

Now, I set my new 2500A to echo 6.8, @ 11250, 22Khz off, and TP to 1. I get no quality level on TP1, but picks up some Horizontal TP's.

I also did a SCAN all on it and a blind scan and all it picks up are:

BET, ANIML, HBO-E, BRAVO and a couple others, both on blind scan, both on echo 6.8 and echo 7.

No matter what the settings are, I only get those few channels, and even than they are scrambled or it keeps saying downling data.

I know ECM got most channels, but I should be able to pick up all the channels on DI$H and descramble a hand full on 110 with old bin, right?

My receiver doesnt even scan and show all the channels! What am I doing wrong? The dish is point the right way! It was working 2 weeks ago on another receiver!

No I did not. Do I have to load channels? I thought you can blind or scan all to pickup the channels???

Also, the receiver has no problem showing and picking up world FTA channels on my world sat I have for my parents.

If I have to load channels, where can i get a channel list? Thankx.

If you are still having a problem, check whether you have set the settings for your lnb switch correctly. This is done during antenna setup

Where do I find the lnb switch settings and what do I set it to?

The Diseq settings have to be set correctly. If dish 1 is pointing to 6-8, then Satellite 6-8 has to be setup as Diseq 1 and so on...

I have 4 satellites on the side of my house...1 is DTV (useless now), another is world sat, another is BEV, and the last is DI$H.

Non of them are put into a switch I think.

I really dont understand the Diseq setting....is Diseq set/used when you put all your sats into a switch? Do you still set Diseq even if the LNB is coming straight to your receiver?

If this is what you have, you should have 2 lines fromt the tilted Di$h setup and one from Bev coming down to a switch. Switches usually come with 2 inputs or 4. You would need a 4 way.
There is only one output leaving the switch and it goes to the Pansat.

I believe it is point to 6.8 and 7, cuz my friend brought his pansat 2500A over and all channels were working perfectly fine.

All I did was get a new Pansat and flash it with 05 04 bin and with blind scan or "scan all" it picks up only a hand full of channels and they are all either scrambled or downloading data forever. And these 7-8 channels repeat over and over again from channel 100 to 500! No matter what echo I set, it only picks up using scan BET, HBO-E, ANIML, BRAVO and a couple more!

Do I need to load a channel list or should blind scan or scan all do all that even though the channels are down?

and I'm not talking about the elevation. Is it skewed?
This is necessary to know because if it is you need to load the channels for both satellites 6-8 and 7. When you will do this, it will blow out what you have already scanned.

Also, you should know that with the file you loaded into your Pansat, at this point in time...you will not be getting anything out of 119 and about 75 % of the channels out of 110 and nothing on Bev.
About a week ago ECM's both on Di$h and Bev networks brought down the testing community

Ok, i just went outside to see what is going on:

I have 1 XVU dish that has a Di$h marked LNB on it and it is pointing west with almost no tilt angle, and another XVU dish that has a Di$h marked LNB that is pointing about 30-40 degrees east of the first Di$h sat that is point west, but with a tilt up compared to the first one. Both these dishs come into a 2-input switch and into the house.

Eash LNB has 2 outputs that come to 2 switchs, im guesing 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs.

Also have a DTV dish that has no switch and comes straight into the house.

And a Satron world dish for world FTAs.

Please help me out....what setting do I setup?

Like they were saying, set up disqc sat 1 for what you have hook up.

example:

if you have 4x1 sw and you have 110 on sat 1, disqc should be on 1 and the positioner setting should be 1.2 and the satellite scan on all and don't forget in the in usa you need to put lnb type on standard.
If you have 119 on sat 2 disqc should be on 2 and so on.

I you have more than four dishes hook up, you need the 22khz sw and things change a little bit there. If you need help on that too let us know.

As they mentioned 119, nimiq will not be able to see except for 110, which I am getting maybe about 100 channels, starz, hbo, playboy, showtime, max, locals and a few more.

If your friends pansat works then I would load al7bar updater and upload the channel guide from the working pansat and download to your unit then wait for the new update a little is better then none if you have a dish500 guide you can download it but your friends is allready setup.

Ok guys, I talked to my dad (He did the setup) and he says that 1 SAT is pointing 119 and the other is point 65.5 and they both come into 1 switch.

Another is pointing DTV sat and another FTA sat.

So, now, how do I setup 2500A to receiver 119 with switch? And WTF is on 65.5?
