About to give up! I got a 3900 at the flea market. For some reason, it will not get the odd side of the 119 sat. Everything else is ok (110 odd, 110 even and 119 even). It will not update in the stream. I've tried to force it but no-go. I hear a clicking sound in the IRD too. I've tried a magic card set for rom10 and rom 3. It keeps telling me there is a problem with the switch (using SW-21s). I tried plastic too and got the same results. My 3700 and my 301 works fine on the same sat connections. Is this ird trash? I was able to jtag it just fine. Any help would be very appreciated !!!
THANKS !
Do you have a different lnb you can test it on, maybe a friends dish?
I had this problem the other day and I had to swap the coax cable with a receiver in another room.

I would but everything else works fine on this coax connection.
Others may disagree with this, but you should try flashing your tsop with a bin from the tsop bank. One with the same build conf. Of course you will have to do a full erase of the tsop.
If you need me to explain the steps to do this let me know.

Upgrade your firmware and you should be fine. I think the current version is at 231
