I have a 013 single 4 meg TSOP, bootstrap 17 I'm trying to vid mod. An internal JTAG was installed and backup performed. Cut the trace between SB35 and the spot.
Now here's where my problem start:
Start JKey at it detects the model
Connect 9V vid mod
Click on Flash Programming and I get a DCU peak error
I also tried the above step with out the vid mod and it gives me an error like "The flash codes returned are not recognized by JKeys. Mfg/Device codes returned are ....:
Anyone seen this before?

read further in the mod section it shows you to solder a wire to the ground of the tsop on the bottom of the board and that will stop your error
DCU PEAK ERRORS?
Sometimes these receivers like to go on strike and refuse to be programmed displaying DCU Peak errors. All you need to do to get rid of these errors is to solder a jumper between pad 1 of the JTAG port and the Ground pad right next to it then repeat the steps I described above.

Or R79 on top of the board. What JKEYS version are you using??? JKEYS 301_013C recognizes it & so does 2_9_11_026 w/ updated files.

Thanks for the reply. I did ground Pad 1 on the bottom and that's how I got to save Tsop and eeprom. I backtrack what I did and found the problem. I cut the wrong trace  . I cut the one next SB35 instead of SB35, now if one of you could tell me the solder point to correct that trace, I'll buy you virtual beer :)
Time to get a tracing to a solder point.

If you applied 9v to the SB35 w/o trace cut you may have just fried the supply to the spot from your CPU, hopefully not, but may have. Check volts at SB35 w/vid mod switched off (spot and SB35 connected), and see if it is about 3.2v.

Thanks Skinerd, I'll check tonight when I try to find solder point. I found one solder point already, it the spot next to "the spot". The other end is a b!tch to find though.
