Just noticed this.. All the other HD and SD chans come in fine. I get audio on these two chans, but no video. Me thinks they are testing Nagra2 only encryption. Anyone else noticing similar results?

yup, same thing here. not good news.

TJHUntil the Nagra 2 card is hacked the only way to fix is to get a sub.

And if that isn't bad enough, some one posted this on another forum:

"Dishnet has already warned their dealers to expect a rash of 'broken' 6000 models in the coming weeks."

How can Charlie run those HDTV channels with Nagra2 but does NOT affect older legitimate customers??? Maybe I am missing something.

Nagra 2 = yellow card = only 6000 subs have because blue cards were swapped out

This has been posted for a while now. Only the HD channels will be N2 for now on.

Looks like all HD channels are now converted to Nagra 2 as all are black. SD channels are ok on the 6000 but it's now an expensive 2700 for dishnet testing.

Well, on the bright side there is more of a reason for the pros to cracking on the Nagra2 cards. With some (alot of) luck they will be opened before the older roms get shut off.

No, not yet.

Charlie can only switch the other non-HD channels to Nagra2 once they have completed the card swap. Once that happens it is bye-bye dish testing unless someone figures out how to test Nagra2.

Anyone have a Rom11 that they can try in a 6000? There's a rumor that Rom11 can do Nagra 2 decryption. Sounds like a stretch to me but one test is worth a thousand opinions.

I am using an ROM11 288-09 and it is the same. Nothing unlocks the Nagravision 2 yet. When you look at the satellite list www.lyngsat.com/ ever dish bird is now broadcasting the video encryption stream Nagravion 2. I think converting to BEV may only last you a few months or weeks as they see the success with Charlie just as Charlie seen with Dave. It's only a few channels...nut it sure has been great!!
