editing a cam

Hi all. I'm new at testing dish and I'm at a point where I'm alittle confused. I have a rom 10 at rev A16. The card came from a 301 and it's going to be used in a 3800. My problem is trying to edit the ird no. boxkeys, and cam id in nagra 4.1. I have everything in hex, but. due to my inexperience I'm not sure of the proceedure to place the proper 3800 data on to the rom 10. I've read and pownloaded much info but as I said it's alittle unclear to me. Thanks otherside

use nagra open and clean card, then use the data editor tab to change the info as needed

or you can use one of the tier maker programs like minirtm and input your info in ird section and should make tier patch that will have that info and then patch to card, add blackout fix patch and then add blocker last

Thanks dssturbo. I was beginning to realize that a tier maker could change the data. I just couldn't change anything in data editor at all, I tried to change data on the right side of the of the screen but the program wouldn't let me. I could change data in eeprom though.
