MODs HELP PLEASE ! ERROR 349 !!

I can't get a good answer on my error 349 questions. I'm using a single tsop 301.013 with build DAMD and bootstrap 17BB. This DAMD/17BB setup is anti-rom3 and rom 10. When I try to use my rom 10 card, I get the error 349 - card is incompatible. I read the posted fix for this error and it says to do the vid mod and flash a 48 byte FF'd eprom bin to eprom. This is suppose to make the 301 compatible with the rom3 and rom10 cards.
Is this the same "vid mod" for programming the 301 or something else? Do you know where I can get a copy of this 48 byte eprom? I tried IRDr but it runs in DOS and is confusing. The other fix says to use a 2700 to make the eprom but I don't have one. Do I load a different tsop too at a different build? Is there any other fixes for the problem?

Vid mod is required to zero out location 7FFFFFAC which will enable the 3 and 10 and MC. The build configuration has nothing to do with anything, zeroing out the location will work fine.

Use flashedit make a virgin eeprom, that's all you need.

DUH !!! I can't believe I forgot about this fix. It worked the first time. I was trying to fix it the old, hard way. Thanks for your help !!
