Resurrecting 301-3100 (Help)

I used flashedit to put in my IRD# and boxkey#. I then used resurrecting 301-3100 I used the Wall 2.0 and followed instruction to the letter and I did get the green light. I then used Jkeys to erase flash 2 full and program flash 2 full. The next step I did was erase flash 1 full and program flash 1 full. I then used jkeys to detect and everything looked perfect. I hooked up the receiver to the satalite to update and for two hrs and no picture. I have the green light and I can turn the receiver on and off with the remote. I have the card inside so what did I do wrong or why is it I'm not getting a picture. All I'm getting is snow. Can any one help. FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED.......................................... .......

PS: I have a 301-10 receiver the Build cfg EAEA,13EB. Model ID 10Y,P225. When I jtaged my 301 It's exactly what I wrote down the first time I jtaged it. Everything looks write but it's still not working. Is there another step I have to do? Please help.............................................. .

Did it work before, if so maybe you moved the channel 3/4 switch on back??

No the switch is on 3. Yes it worked before after I made a mistake erasing both tsop.

It turns off and on, that's a good sign, I can't explain the bad video, unless you wrote corrupt files to the receiver.

I don't know what posesed you to ERASE FLASH 2...? It's Flash 1 or just, SA3 of Flash 1 (IC22-29LV160).

Write these back to your Receiver...! The one marked EEPROM Write this to "EEPROM Programming" FIRST...!
Then Write the next one (After you've Erased the FLASH 1 FULL)
If you are more then 200 miles south of the Oregon Border..!
(Too far South..>>) Re-aim your Dish to the 82 Bird Nimiq 2..!
This will give you a speedy Update, then re-aim to the 91 bird and pull the Card, Re-place-it and go to Upgrades re-set these to Ask permission, Go-to Installation and re-check your Switch.

Let me get this right. Erase flash 1 full then write eeprom and the second bin.
I made a huge mistake eraseing flash 2. I'll let you know what happens. Thank you.................

I didn't reaim the dish so I let it take the update the long way. the only thing that changed was the model ID# now it says 10U, P226. Still no picture. the green light is on and I can turn it off with the remote.

Well Ole Buddy..! I gave you (via private message) some options and if you don't follow them you can't expect the same results..! I found, if you don't re-aim the dish (I've got a spare "Test" Dish) that I set-up (in the Driveway) for testing (Up-Dating) tough Receivers, it may not Update at all. One of my Units went a couple of days, and still wouldn’t Update…! As soon as I set it to Nimiq 82... with-in 5 minute I was up and running...!
The first thing you need to make sure you do is go-to Menu, (6) System Setup, (5) System Upgrades, and Set to “Ask before downloading”..
Now Pull the Card and re-aim to Nimiq 91
The very next thing you need to do is Re-insert the Card, Go-to (6) System Setup, (1) Installation, (1) Point Dish/Signal, Check Switch, Check.
My Stationary Dish is set-up and receiving Dave (Legitimately) and BEV @ 91. (if you need to know how this is done Call me or E-mail me..! I will private message you with that as well) I use a standard 18” single LNB DTV Dish.

I like to thank the Croz for helping me. I saved my virgin eeprom using lower case. Now I saved it iin capital letter EAED and reflashed my eeprom and now it works. For those who use resurrecting 301 don't forget to save a virgin eeprom in capital letters. The main mother board sticker is on the front off your IRD . If you can't see it use a flashlight and you will see it . When you save it a small window will pop up and ask you to type in the four letter and make sure you type in capita letters. Not eaed but EAED.
