I can get the box keys and ird # soon as I hit jkeys. but there is ffff for manufacture and device. Soon as I hit on Flash programing the error comes up telling me that (The device/Flash codes returned are not recognized by the Jkeys. There for it won't let me do anything. I tried using Wall. I tried erasing both flashes which it does but very quickly. Then I check it with Jkeys to varify, it shows nothing has changed.
Are there any other programs besides these that I can use to fix up the tsops?

What receiver are you working with?

DP 301. 010 . I was able to read and write both tsops before. But it would not download software from stream forever. green light would keep on blinking every 5seconds or so. So I decided to erase both tsops with Wall2. I wrote 60000 bites first on flash 2 and unpluged the receiver. I plugged the receiver back the green light keep on flashing just like before without the Sat feed in. when I tried going back to jkeys to flash, the jkeys started giving me error saying manufacture/device codes ffff returned are not recognized by the jkeys soon as hit flash programming. Therefore I am unable to do anything with jkeys.

I go back to Wall and tried erasing/writing both flashes back. When I hit erase flash on wall it does it right away. It tells flash erase succeded. If I write the the both flashes back and go back to jkeys to confirm the writing. It shows nothing has happened no erasing or writing. The model id yyyy and software is yyyy. It shows my box keys and all the other info. Now soon as hit flash program, the dreaded error comes up saying " The flash codes returned are not recognized by the Jkeys. Mfg/device codes returned are ffff/ffff (jedec) and ffff/ffff (flashfile).

By the I had the receiver plugged overnight. And my Sat feed does work. I have a working receiver same model. In my opinion the Wall2 program screwed up the Flash1. Any suggestions or any other programs that can erase tsops so I can write a clean bin?.

I've had the same problems, and what helped me is grounding pin 1 of the
jtag to ground till jkeys didn't give me the error. you WILL still get the fff yyy
values till you properly write valid data to your tsops though.
I think it took me over 20 tries at grounding pin 1, how long to ground it, so forth.
keep trying. it will work.

pavesi,

I tried different flashes and Wall2 seem to write but not model ID software ID, they are still yyyy. And soon as I click on flash programming the same error comes up telling me that Jkey does not recognize thses Mfg/device codes FFFF/FFFF .
