Adding all Channels/Tiers...What impact (if any) does that have??

I noticed that I have all the channels appearing on my BEV guide. If I go in and add all the channels when I am programming the card, will I lose some features as a result (using up more memory??) or leave myself open to other problems (ie. ECMs, etc..). If the answer is no, then why wouldn't everyone simply open up ALL the channels as opposed to opening up only a select few? Please bear with me if this is a very elementary question because I'm very new to this. Thanks.

Ecms are mostly at the PPV and blockers.
Main thing is not to add tiers for the same channel twice, If the channel is open on a group tier do not select it again as a single tier. Other than than play and have some fun. That is what is it all about.

I think I might have selected some of the channels twice. Next time I will only try to select it once. Thanks for the heads up.

Everything was working good for about 1 hour when all of a sudden, I lost of all of the channels except for 317. Did this double selection cause my system to go down or did I forget a step???? I tried reprogramming the card but it didn't help. Can anyone provide me a little assistance? I have absolutely what to do next. By the way, I used the "DishGod" ROM 10 file from the download areas. Was that a bad file? It was supposed to be an all-in-one file. Please help. Thank you.
