error 002

EVERY time i turn the channel, i get the error 002, satellite signal has been lost, move you r arrow keys.......
is this an ecm do i need to take an update? i have no idea

You could be trying to watch a channel that is spotbeamed.

All the channels are doing it.
what's spotbeamed?

spotbeamed means the transponder that sends that signal can only be received in certain states or cities if you are outside the area the signal does not reach you.

Check the signal level in the setup menus. If it's 50% or lower on both sats time to realign the dish or check the connections.

Or look for obstructions like tree limbs, birdshit on the dish (yes I had that happen once), or wasps building a nest ect.

it seems to happen when i go to the lower channels. if i saty at the higher ones, no problems. if i go to the lower ones and then to the higher ones, it happens to all the channels, even ppv.
i must be hitting one of the spotbeam channels, and its messing up the receiver.
