can't update my 301.010 need help

can't update my 301.010,i followed direction's by leaving it plugged in overnite & flashing and erasing sa-3,i heard of putting a virgin eeprom on the ird & it will update too the latest software (226).but do not no how to do that,can someone help me out.

does the card have to be in it.and also i am only getting 110 does that matter

if you erased appropriate sector and then restreamed the ird then it should update within 30 minutes , if it didnt then more than likely your eeprom is flagged and you will need to write a virgin eeprom to your receiver there are alot guides out there to help ya out
