View Full Version : 3750 Ird
Has anyone got any info about 3750 ird, how it is being used, connection or user manual? This unit I ignorantly bought at a flea market and they won't take it back.
The receiver looks exactly like a 2700 but does not have an input for LNB . It shows up as QAM on the info screen.
Any information would be helpful.

The 3750 is not a receiver, it is a multi unit dwelling cable box.
They only work with a 15,000 dollar head unit that sends out the cable feed.
I got suckered into one off yabe for 20 bucks, that is only good for dust collection.
Can I flash the tsop in this unit and replace it in a screwed up 2700? Also I think the power supply parts are identical too, as well as many other parts, cover etc.
Just an opinion.

No bud...it's a different beast.Without the right head end for it, it's of no use for testing.Last qam head end I saw on Ebay went for $500 used.
I know of peeps that have tried reflashing without any success, because the circuit topology is very different.

The tsop is readable as an 3800, so I don't think it will work on a 2700 board, but might work as a replacment for a 3800-3900, as for other parts( power, video out) I don't know, you'll have to try to match up numbers.
