I've got 2 - 3900 recievers,niether of them will complete the download,when trying
to restream.I've tried to erase whole flash, erasing sa30,niether of which helped.
It will download up to 015,where it runs the 5 tests. It'll get to 2 of 5,and set there about 10 mins. ,then it goes through test 3 and 4,then cuts off and restarts
itself, and starts back on test 1 of 5,in 015 screen.I don't know if it has anything
to do with it, or not,but when I was doing switch check,I noticed, that both of these recievers, were showing spaces for 3 tv's.These recievers are new to me,I
have never used them, but they have been used.would this have anything to do
with my problem,since I am using them with a dish 500,twinlnb's,with just 2 tv's?
Or do I need to do something else?
Thanks a bunch,You guy's are great!!!!!

Clean your card, to zero tiers. Apply a blocker to it. Restream it and see if it works. This will confirm/eliminate the card programming as the culprit. I find 3900/4700/4900 units are fussy about tiers. Lets go from there.

Let us know how it affects the 015 issue.

I'll just reload card, but not the tiers, will it let me apply blocker, without tiers?

So, I take it you got past the 015 issue???Try reducing the number of tiers on the card, using only what you need. I find that units with the single 2 meg tsops behave this way with tier generator scripts and certain blockers. Start over, keeping only what you need. You may find it still hangs at the transponder count, and may even reboot several times, but it will go eventually. Be patient.
