if charlie does switch over to rom 101 and higher the yellow cards will it affect the magic card users? or just the atmega users or the emulator users? who is affected and who isnt??and also i want to kno does any one here make there own web pages cus i have a few ideas that can go on those web pages? pls pm me about the web page stuff and the charlie stuff post in forum thnks

When the Nagra2 stream is implemented, ALL testing methods we use now will be useless.

Charlie has said it will complete by september of 2005, It seems a few folks on this site believe the rom 10x will be the same as the P4, I was one of them, but I have seen some posts from respected people and mods that they believe the rom 10x is far from the p4 and will likely be hacked if it is not already. They breathed a little hope into my lungs but only time will tell.

Several of the new testing devices, like the Neo and Magic Card, seem capable of implementing the Nagra 2 decoding once that is figured out.

I remember the day when the H card ruled, and the HU was called un-hackable.

One or the other has to be opened by 2005 - the Nagra 2 or the P4/P5, one of them will be opened. (Puts crystal ball away)

LOL, glad you see the future old tex!! Could you throw me some lottery numbers before you put that thing away?? I would like to be optimistic and say the nagra 2 hack will be here before the p4. As for the MC and Neo being capable of decrypting it in their present state, I'll leave that up to you guys who know more about it than I do. I think I'm going to buy a couple rom 10x cards in their virgin state before the price goes up!

a rom 10x is not a rom 10 card, the x is a stand in for rom 101, 102 they are the yellow cards that come with dish receivers and they currently do not have a public hack for them. the rom 11 is a nagra1 card
