I recently had a chance to play with a RCA222. I have a 420.
The 420 was slightly more polished in its on-screen GUI. I was wondering if the 431 had any changes as compared to the 420?
There seems to be 2 case styles for the 431. 420-style and a sloping front style. I am assuming that the angle front is the newer machine.

430, 431, 450 all use exactly the same case. the card slot is to the right side in front. the one with the sloping front is a 435RH.
they have a nice GUI than the 420's.

which has the nicer GUI as compared to the 420? The "430, 431, 450" or the 435 ?
Are there any pictures of the 'new' GUI online? I have a Sony BS50 and 2 RCA 420. Sony & RCA are completely different. Is the new RCA GUI really different from the old or just some very minor changes?

on a 420, before you insert your card you will see "PCR20". if i am not mistaken, only the 420 shows you that it was modded. other models you know takes the mod when the new upload is successful.
