Yes the legacy Twin will work.
The DishPro 500 duals are for the newer receivers.
May need a sw21 switich ?

DishPRO LNB's are only compatible to legacy receivers(2700,2800,3700,3800,3900,4700,4900) if yoiu use a DP adaptor. AT the price these are selling, better off buying a legacy Twin lnb...

Not compatible because there is a built in switch that will work only with the newer receivers 301, 501, 508, 721 ....
Might be able to add an additional switch to make it work like a sw21.
I am not sure so someone else will have to answer that part.

You could also buy a legacy Twin LNBb on eBay cheap.
But I would ask here to see if a sw21 or another switch would to solve your problem first.
The switch would be available at Radio Shack or other local electronics stores.

With what you have you need an dishpro adapter for each reciever you add, and they cost over 50 bucks apiece. You would be better off getting a Legacy Twin, Legacy Quad, or a couple of Legacy duals with a couple of 2x1 switches.

It is always easy for me to remember
Dishpro=3digit reciever 301 501 721 and the lnb always says Dish pro on it.
Legacy will work on almost any reciever. It is not like the Dishpro in that if it says nothing on it it is a Legacy.
As has been proven in the past I may be incorrect but I am pretty close. It does cause some confusion in that a 301 is the same as a 3100. Use the dish ird # and it will be there.
