Quick question… I wanted to know what kind of switch I would need to use a DTV elliptical dish with 2 of it’s LNB’s on a dish pro 301.13 receiver.

Also could I use a Dish Pro dual LNB with the DTV eliptical Dish?

A simple sw21 would work fine for 110,119 sats. Mounting is different with a DP pro lnb so that would take some cobbling.

The DTV LNB's are not suppose to work with the 301, you can either use dishpro or legacy LNb's with the 301, cause they are backward compatible.

The DTV lnb are the same as the legacy lnbs. They will work on any dish ird.

DTV LNB's work fine, Just not DTV multiswitches.

When I first started, I had two single LNB DTV dishes with two sw21 switches and two 2800 IRDs. One dish was aimed at 110 and the other at 119. Everything worked fine. I do not believe the 301 IRD would work in this setup because they need a DishPro LNB and the DTV LNBs are Legacy.

301's work with both dishpro and legacy, they are backward compatible.
