I have a 2800 that I dont have a backup for. My question is, how do I know what to use out of the bank. There looks to several to chose from. Thanks for any help .

Push system info on your remote and look for your correct build cfg. It will be right after your ird type, 2800. For example I have a 3900 and mine starts as CLFA The first three letters though are all you need.

...and if your receiver won't power up do to tsop/eep corruption, look through the top of your receiver, near the card slot area. You will see a small sticker with 4 upper case characters, like CAOD.As dishrookie stated, the first 3 characters should be a match, as well as being for the provider you wish to test.

I found it. The sticker is COGD. Now my question is how do i get it to power up. I cant get it to do anything.

I guess your assuming that the tsop/eep corruption is the problem. It may or may not be. If you hook up your jtag, does jkeys recognize it?

I am assuming that is the problem. I did the junkyard fix on it and it has not worked since. It will not power on. I seem to get some kind of reading with jkeys but no box keys. Is this fix-able?

Most likely, try full erase and full write, what happens?
