2 questions

okey. i have posted a few times about both of these irds. first i have a 2700 i couldn/'t get it to turn on, so i reflashed the ird wiht a public bin that i thought matched. couldn't get a sat signal. i opened it up and found the build config. was different than what i though, but hte same as another ird i had. i erased the flash and re did it the same as the other one, still no signal. i used jkey, and tsop edit to do this. when i go to the signal strength i get nothing. when i test the voltage on the sat input it is around 18, so i assume it works any ideas?

also i have a 3000 ird that i have the boxkeys for but it kept flashing, it was really old firmware, so i plugged it in, and turned it off over night, still flashed every two to 3 seconds. when i went into menu to go to the system info and see if it updated it shut down and won't turn back on. that's got me really confused. mind you i do get confused pretty easily. i also have tried to junk yard fix it, but nothing happens. i can hear i click when i plug it in, but can't get a green lihgt.

any help would be appreciated.

What software version is the 2700 show?
3000 is not in the stream so the JY killed it.

the 2700 is e 452. the 3000 shut down before the junk yard fix. as soon as i tried to check the system info, i think i got as far as 6-3 on the remote before it shut down.

OK BEV here, I was assuming Dishnet by mistake. Lets play with one at a time.
If you do not have it , Download "Flashedit2" from files. Find a 2700 bin file matching your first 3 tsop build config letters, If it is a older software version don't worry, As long as it is for bev. Open that in flashedit and edit the ird and boxkeys back to yours, Save the tsop Image. Click save again and select "Create virgin Eeprom image", Jtag the 2700 and write the tsop and then the virgin eeprom to it. The power light should turn on now. If the tsop version is older it may need to update, But lets do this much first to see if you can get it to turn on.
Also, Some of the uploaded tsops I know are no good, So it might take a few different ones to find a good one. I have been after Milli for awhile to be able to delete the bad files but no luck yet.. :)

when you said write the virgin eeprom, in jkeys do i write in the ird/eeprom box or the single location box or both? i wrote the tsop, then went into eeprom programming and programmed the top one. now i get a black screen. going to try again.

still no signal. erased whole flash, 3 times, programmed, then programed virgin eeprom and jsut get aquiring sat.... no signal strength in menu. 0%
