Can someone tell me if the 721 needs a digital lock and where to find the schematics of how it connects.

well i have 2 no locks there not a ecm tarket u can install a lock but from what i heard its tricky and 1 mistake 721 is boat anchor from what i gather no need to put lock on at this present time till at least 4yrs been running mine with atmega and rom ten for about month now no proplems

I don't think you can install a digital lock on a 721 (has to be manual). A digital lock prevents the unit from booting up.

A manual lock only stops charlie from updating the software it is not a ECM lock and sooner or later you have to take the update so the manual lock only put off the update manual lock is a waste of time and if you f,.k up your rec is garbage and once you do it you can not undo it
