Hi,
I'm going to try re-flashing a 301.013 tonight and need a couple things clarified.
I have a 301-013 build DAHD, single TSOP, It has a cut out on the bottom (home made) for the jtag.
2 Things:
Do I still have to ground R79 if jtagging from the bottom?
What Tsop files will work, anything from DAHA?
Thanks,
alm

r79 or Jtag pad 1 are the same connection and one of them need to be grounded to enter flash mode. DAHD and DAHA are the same build. If you are using a backup from that ird to reflash then good, If not you may need to take the TSOP image into the program Flashedit2 to edit the ird and boxkeys, Never flash a public dump directly.
That model did not require a vid mod, However to do a full reflash it will need to be modded or you will error out at address 7FFFFF40, Locked sector at Jkeys 99 percent reflashing.
Good luck.

so it will need the vid mod to reflash?
Can I use the 9 volt battery method?
I tried already and it won't erase, it doesn't error, just tells me it's not fully erased then errors right away when programming is tried.

I have loaded several 301's with various build configs, to test the results, so far everything seems to work fine, I prefer the DAHA as it was originally for the blue card, but they all seem to function equally. DAHA is normally the tsop build and DAHD would be the eeprom version. Seems all -013s have a DAxA tsop and a DAxD eeprom build.
