Hello,
I got tired of using two old dave dishes with switches and decided to get a Dish500 and a DP-Twin lnb. I have tried many... many.. times to point this dish, but it refuses to get signal. Adding the variable of the skew angle into the equation just complicates the matter. My mast is level vertically and horizontally. For my area, it says I should point it at:
Azimuth: 153
Elevation: 44
Skew: 82
I have pointed this dish all over the place within reason of those angles, and I get no love. My DP301.13 receiver correctly detects the lnb as a DP-Twin-1 so its not the wiring. This is quite frustrating. If I cant get this eventually, im gonna tear it down and put the dave dishes back up. I just figured the single Dish500 would look alot more inconspicuous than two dave dishes. Any suggestions? Thanks.
