on a 301 13 single tsop. which top jtag pin does sb35 lead to? should the reading
from sb35 to that pin be 0 ohms?

None, SB35 is between the CPU and flash chip. Normally it will have 3.3v on it when the receievr is plugged in.

Trace them and see.
I believe the flash chip is pin 14, not sure what the CPU pin is.
Why is that important anyway?

I can't erase or write to tsop. Big Swifty wrot that he found a bad connection between sb35 and pin 12, but it wasn't clear where pin 12 was at. sounds like that may be my problem as well. Im gona test continuity. I know i have 3.2 volts with vmod off and 12 volts with vmod on but havnt had any success yet.

my tsop is an AM29LV320T . there dosent seem to be a jkeys version that supports it. I wonder if that is a possibility also.

After a vid mod is done, it is possible the connections at SB35 and the "spot" could be faulty.
There are several 301 single tsop jkeys versions floating, check the download section.
