Hi Guys,

I currently have a dish 300 dish with one LNB. Is it possible to just add the integrated 2 LNB from dish 500 with the Y bracket to the physical saucer and arm of a dish 300 and have it pick up both satellites ?

thanks!

I am absolutely positive that it might work. Why not try it and see? You are a tester, no?

Yeah, the 300 dish is prolly a little small and I don't think it has a skew adjustment either, Dish 500 would be a much better option.

definetely confused now. some say the dish 500 saucer is perfect others that it's not big enough.

I am asking because here in Canada a couple of dealers tried selling me a dish 500 for 125$ and I already got the twin lnb's for like 15$..though I could make due with what I have!

final opinions please ? Is the dish 300 too small to receive both 110/119 ?

ok, asked a little bit more and it seems like there is no solution.

I will need a dish 500 in order to adjust for the skew. I saw on dishnetwork's chart that one satellite has a higher elevation than the other so skew is necessary to adjust for that!

thanks

I've heard of people picking up 2 or more birds on an 18in dish. I think it would work you'd just need to get a skew attachment.
