I was getting this message in JKeys: "LSI control unavailable, cannot access EEPROM" The only thing it really detected was the IRD model, everything else seemed bogus. It wouldn't read the EEPROM at all and if I tried to go into Flash Programing it would state that it did not recognize the data. I found the Guide to Ressurecting your 301/3100 using Wall 2.0 but that got me nowhere. Here's how I fixed it:
You basically do what you normally would with JKeys but now with Wall 2.0 since JKeys stops communicating with the IRD.
1. Erase and Program Flash 2
(download and read the Guide to Ressurecting your 301/1300 to learn how to do this)
2. Erase and Program Flash 1
Same method as in erasing and programming flash 2. To select Flash 1 though, Choose "1FE00000" in Flash Base Address. It will automatically set the Lenght (HEX) to "1F0000".
3. Program the EEPROM
Go to Action>Program EEPROM.
This worked for me when the ressurecting guide failed to do anything. It "ressurected" my IRD and regained communication with JKeys.
