rom2 trouble

i have a rom2 that i cant keep up gets loc id, is there a new rom2
blocker out, it also ask me to purchase ppvs,i never had to purchase ppvs, i used rtm11.8d prog 119 sat put horhay blocker his latest , then got hit , tried pengas , this card was in a 3000 that got knocked out , could it have corrupted the card , maybe if i put a new rom2 image on it , and redo it . why would i have to purchase ppvs, on the bev i know you have to adjust the hi-lo limit on line EFC5 TO EFC7 , some one mentioned my ppv string is expired, and has to be reset , how do you do that, never did it before. thanks for the help..........

thanks mulders i did the edit in xcel 3.6 for the ppvs like you said now i get on all channels your smart card does not have authorization to view or purchase this programm please wait or channel up or down. i tried channeling up or down and nothing same message whats wrong.....

i even redid the card in rtm11.9 selected the channels i wanted did not get greedy added ppv string. saved ne2 file opened excel 3.6 cleaned to rev 52 twice went back to n.e.2 open patch ed open patch the one i did in rtm applied patch 0warrning 0errors write to card open patch penga rom2 blocker applied patch 0warrning 0errors write to card checked in xcel3.6 ppv tier expire date is 10-18-03 i still get your smart card does not have authorization to view or purchase this program. is the rev 52 suppose to change when the blocker is applied iam not sure i thought it was , it stays rev52 i thought it went to rev54?????thanks for any help ,,,,

by the way this card was in a 3000 ird that got hit and was switched to bev for the update but the dish update is not in the stream so i reloaded my original bin back on it is there any thing else i should have done....

i get that dish on demand thing....

i got it to work i cleaned it a few times in xcel 3.6 then wrote my bin back on then the patch and blocker workes great thanks for all the help guys.had to let the keys update .

use rtm118.d and check the marked rom2 box , make your tiers , then save the file,then in ne apply the patch you just made in rtm should say 0errors0warnings, then write to card, then apply the penga rom2 blocker in ne 0errors0warnings , then write to card for the rom2 ne1.1 or ne2.0 works the best. i use xcel for cleaning a rom2 then apply the patch and blocker in ne2.0
