I'm New To This And Would Like To Know What Is The Differance Between Sat 119 And 110 Bird. I'm Pointed At 119 Now Would It Make A Differance If I Was Pointed At 110.

You have a dish 500 pan, right? If you have a legacy dual LNB, it will run two receivers - but with only one "eye", it won't pick up two sats at once. You need another like it, plus a SW21 switch. Another option is a twin LNB, two eyes mounted in a common case. You must use Legacy equipment with that 2700, and not DishPro. DP won't work without an expensive adaptor.

119 was the first sat, It has a few ppv and most of the original basics. I consider it the basic core sat. 110 added more of the basics as they added them and a majority of the ppv . You pretty much do want both these days.

To add to Birdie's post, in a nut shell...
110 = Mainstream, mostly English languages - not many PPV movie channels
119 = Many Spanish language channels (ie: CNN) - more PPV movies (English)

You need two dishes - a Sw21 switch - and two lnbs. If you want just one dish - a dish 500 will work - but if you already have one small dish - get another - I always get a better signal with two and you use the sw21 to combine the signals to one coax drop to the ird.
