3900 won't update

Hey I have a 3900 that was working fine at 230 tsop software erased sa30 5 times and it won't update???

try writing a virgin eeprom to your receiver it could be that the eeprom that you have on there is flagged

chuckbadder...i posted the same problem, (awhile back) with my 3900. thing is, it wont even detect in jkeys. cant get the light to come on, NO MATTER WHAT. i tried to flash my tsop after manually putting 3900 in jkeys window from pull dwn menue. tried to installl saved image but wont erase all the way through witout stopping. then tells me (when tring to install old, saved tsop image) "tsop not completly erased." is this the same for your 3900?

No, I couldn't get the receiver to update if I flash with p230 its o.k and works but if I erase sa30 it never updates just flashes.

Common on many of these now. I got to the point on 3900 firmware just to get into the habit of reflashing them back to a virgin tsop and following the new install update procedure, Sa30 and JY seem to put them into a loop now not restreaming.
