Vid mod worked now lost video

I just did vid mod on my 301-13 and everything worked out fine.. Watched tv for few minuites and turned off tv and Box.. Came back an hour later and the only thing that comes up is the chanel header with the program info.. no Picture then the header goes off and a blank screen.. switch channel and new header no Pic.. and suggestions..

I had the same problem. Mine had 201 software in it and I opened up the software with flashedit and the CRC was bad. I clicked the fix CRC tab and saved it and then saved a virgin eprom also. Then I wrote them both to the ird and plugged it in and it worked fine. I then let it update to 204 software version and working good since. Hope this helps.

Might try the ECM recovery and let it restream without a card in.

I did VID MOD succeessfully, when i see 7FFFFFAC address, its showing me 0000. butttttttttttttttttt no display anymore.... plz plz plzzzzz help me out, im loudly crying and nobody here to listen me... hey dudesssssss, i kno u guys could help me out. symtoms are;
my reciever DP 301-13, power light is ON, but not showing any picture, i didn't erase my flash yet, do i need to do that or whts the procedure to do it on dp 301 13. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me out...

If channel 101 comes in, your box keys are probably not right on your card. If channel 101 is just like the rest, black screen, your software in your ird is probably corrupt. That is what the problem was with mine. With mine, when I went into the setup menu to check the signal level from the satellite, it wouldn't show a level and the ird would freeze up and do some wired stuff. That is when I figured something was wrong with the software. I then read the software with jkeys and then opened up the software with flashedit to check it and the CRC was bad. I clicked fix CRC and saved it and saved a virgin eprom and wrote both of those to the ird and it fixed it.

Some IRD numbers are blacklisted as well and can cause these symptoms also.

ok I have read the Flash and find that the CRC is bad . How do you fix this in Flash edit?
I checked the fix box and then saved as private file and then when I read this back It still says bad crc.
