Cheapest place for DT chips for 508?

Also does anybody know what Oddcircuits charges for a Dt chip install ( What are they ahrging for chip and what are they charging for labor) Also does anybody know what it would be with a AR105-C lock install too?

it is when there are different "guides" out there stating that it will work...and then you get numerous conflicting statements from people...would be nice to get one final vid mod guide for the receiver with and without the R331.

I just used the one I posted a day or so ago, and after tracing all the connections I conclude it is the best and works with or without R331, it uses 4 wires to the switch, and 2 trace cuts.

Oddcircuits charges $60+ to install a ar105c lock, $5 extra if you want an external switch, + shipping.

Highontech charges $31.50 for a 29DL323DT chip, not installed either.

finding someone to do repairs on these things would be nice just think of what he would make with all the smoked ones out there i have two myself lol

No I didint smoke em , I haven't fucked with it yet , just curious what iot would cost I have heard people mention that they got the Dt chips for around $12.50 & I have seen it as much as $ 44 , just wanting to know the name of the places that sells them cheap , incase I need one, Yea buddy was right above about it being confusing with all the different guides out there , and different config on top of that , but I like the one u posted skinerd , anyways one more ? since my 508 came with a Blue rom 10 , I figured I would just lock it and use the box keys I got from jtag it to run my mc in camless mode , but will I still need to do the vid mode to use the mc , since it came with rom 10 ? Or is that only the ones that came with yellow rom 10x that need it if thay want to use mc or another testing device, I figure I if it will except the mc with out vid mode , I will just lock and pretty much not have to worry about doing the vid mode , since it will be " safe" with the Ar105-c lock, unless charlie figures away around those locks hopefully I won't need to do a vid mode ( That would be the only reason I would need to write or erase the Flash 2 ,) Anyways thats my main thing is will the MC work without a vid mod on a 508 w/GT chips tha CAME W/ a ROM 10 from factory?

ynot-try, if you have 2 smoked 501 or 508s why not talk to and send them to skinerd and let him fix you up? or if you need the oddcrcuits install/receiver repair guy just pm me and will give you his email addy
