I have 3 301-010 receivers that I am trying to ejtag and all I'm getting is 0x0000000 device unknown and no box key readings. What might be causing this to happen
Make sure your printer port is set up to send and receive (Bi-Directional)

Receiver need to be plugged into AC power, Make sure Jkeys is configured for the port on the computer you are connected to, Check that you are on the correct ejtag pads.

My parallel ports are set up right. Could it just be a bad jtag. It won't work on my home computer or my laptop and I had them working with jtags before.

Always a possibility. Sometimes taking the printer port connector hood apart and checking the connections may show a problem. Quad mode Jtags are terrible for poor assembly and soldering here.

I had to take my j31 apart to clean the contact pads in order for it to work.

I bought a J31 and the cable they sent with it never worked so I had to use the cable from a Quad Mode to make it work.

May sure you has a good but very good ground for you jtag. I don't know what jtag you are using you didn't say it but if you have some solder skill you can ground from the top pad 16 to the ird case and you not going to have no more problems... good luck..

In Jkeys preferences make sure parallel port is selected as opposed to Jinterface. Clean the Jtag pads on your receiver.
